Neuropsychological evaluation fee (and what it includes)

A comprehensive neuropsychological evaluation is an in-depth clinical process. The testing appointment is only one part of the work.

The evaluation process

  1. Initial consultation: brief discussion of concerns and fit.
  2. Record review: review of relevant medical, developmental, educational, and/or prior testing records.
  3. Clinical interview: parent/client interview to understand history, concerns, and goals.
  4. Testing: standardized assessment tailored to the referral questions.
  5. Scoring and interpretation: clinical interpretation of test results, observations, history, and records.
  6. Feedback session: review findings and recommendations.
  7. Written report: comprehensive integrated report with findings, impressions, and practical next steps.

What the fee reflects

The goal is not simply to identify a diagnosis, but to provide a clear understanding of how the child, teen, or young adult learns, thinks, attends, remembers, problem-solves, regulates emotions, and functions day to day.

The final report is designed to give families, schools, therapists, physicians, and other providers practical recommendations that can guide treatment, educational planning, accommodations, and next steps.

Your evaluation includes

Record review
Review of medical, developmental, educational, and/or prior evaluation records.
Clinical interview
Parent or client interview to clarify history, concerns, and goals.

What we assess

Integration
Integration of testing data with history, records, observations, and presenting concerns.
Feedback session
Review of findings and recommendations clearly.

More than a testing appointment Testing may take up to 6 hours, but the full evaluation also includes preparation, record review, measure selection, scoring, interpretation, integration of findings, individualized recommendations, and comprehensive report writing.

Additional services—such as school consultation, classroom observation, provider consultation, or follow-up meetings—may be available for an additional fee.
