Esplanade Psychological Services is a private-pay practice and does not bill insurance directly.
Many families choose to submit documentation to their insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement depends on your individual plan and benefits.
Therapy fees
- Initial therapy consultation: $400
- Ongoing therapy session: $350
Additional services (e.g., provider consultation, school meetings, classroom observation) may be available for an additional fee.
Insurance / reimbursement
If you plan to seek reimbursement, you may wish to ask your insurance company:
- Do I have out-of-network benefits for psychotherapy?
- Is prior authorization required?
- What percentage may be reimbursed?
- Is there a deductible?
- What documentation is required?
- Are there limits on number of sessions?
- Can I use HSA/FSA funds?
We can provide documentation (e.g., a superbill/statement) for families who wish to submit to insurance.
